Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. (CRA) is seeking qualified candidates to join our Louisiana office, and we are currently accepting applications for Staff Archaeologist . Our Louisiana office is located in Shreveport, in the heart of the Ark-La-Tex region, and was established in 2010 to support clients in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi. This is a full-time, salaried position that is eligible for a remote work option.

Salary is between $50,000 and $60,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or M.A. in anthropology with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in cultural resource contracting, and will meet the Secretary of the Interior's Standards (36 CFR Part 61) for archaeology. Other qualifications include excellent writing and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and technological proficiency that includes some experience with GIS and relational databases. Qualified applicants will be registered with the Register of Professional Archaeologists, or will be eligible for RPA registration. It is imperative that candidates be able to work 8 to 10 hour days in a variety of field conditions. Stooping, bending, and lifting are essential functions of these positions.
