Who We Are:
The Edmund S. Muskie Professional Fellowship Program’s mission is to equip the next generation of young professionals and current Fulbright Scholars from Eurasia with practical skills and a deeper understanding of the U.S. work culture to promote mutual understanding, implement positive changes, and make a long-lasting impact in their home countries and globally. Our team works on preserving the legacy of the late Senator and Secretary of State Edmund S. Muskie.
Through the support from the U.S. Department of State, the program provides emerging leaders of the Fulbright Program from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia with the opportunity to gain real-world work experience complementing and enriching their graduate studies in the United States.
What You’ll Do:
Your job will be to engage with multiple stakeholders while helping to implement in-person and online events to help graduate students from Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia so they can create positive change in their communities. At any given time, you will be responsible for regularly interacting with program participants and alumni, event planning and execution, helping manage program evaluations and new initiatives, and assisting with grant management and reporting.
You will report to the Director of Fellowship & Internship Programs.
This position can be performed remotely or hybrid based in the Washington, D.C. area
This is a temporary, 6-month limited term position.
