Director of Child Care Center

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Director to lead our child care program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering educational growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to early childhood education, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
• Supervise and support teaching staff in their roles, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to child care facilities.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, enrollment processes, and record keeping.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages parental involvement and community partnerships.
• Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to enhance quality.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
• A background in higher education teaching or education administration is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, staff, and community members.
• A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their development.
• Ability to create a positive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,561.00 - $48,000.00 per year
