Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical procedures, provide patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of our oral surgery practice. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist oral surgeon during procedures such as extractions, implants, and other oral surgeries.
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Take and process dental X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment notes.
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and support.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and sterile environment in the operatory and surgical suite.
• Manage surgical supplies inventory and restocking as needed.
• Assist with patient scheduling and follow-up care coordination.
• Follow OSHA and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification.
• Radiology certification and CPR certification required.
• Strong understanding of dental and surgical instruments and terminology.
• Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to calm and support patients undergoing surgery.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
