Additional responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work well in a team. Experience in dental assisting and knowledge of dental procedures and tools is preferred. CPR certification and an X-ray certification are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using medical imaging techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments and maintain cleanliness of the clinical area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems.
- Experience with 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
