About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Dental Assistant to make our dental office even more efficient and enjoyable for patients and staff. You’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the dentist can focus on what they do best. What You’ll Do:
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring they feel at ease.
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups with comfort in mind.
- Set up instruments, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Follow strict sterilization protocols.
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry techniques.
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Support lab tasks and payment procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Dental Assistant.
- Certifications: Valid Radiography and CPR certification.
- Skills: Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
- Education: High school diploma required; graduation from a dental assistant school is preferred.
- Bonus Points: EFDA certification or additional training.
