Wild Card is seeking a Freelance Strategist to join our Insights Team. This role will be central to audience research and campaign strategy for both our entertainment and brand clients, in partnership with the 3AM creative teams.
This is a unique role in strategy today—a regular day might have this person writing a brief for an upcoming film campaign, or developing a communications plan for a video game, brand or TV show. A high interest in culture, entrepreneurial outlook, flexibility in how to work with different teams and the ability to tell data- and insight-driven stories in presentations will be critical to success for this opportunity.

Job Responsibilities
- Ability to tell stories that lead to compelling briefs and big ideas for brands and/or entertainment clients
- Work with Analyst and data partners to find data-driven and culturally relevant insights
- Experience in using data driven audience profiles
- Develop campaign architectures and messaging strategy for both entertainment and brand clients
- Experience with presenting and being client facing
- Develop POVs on culture and trends for clients and external marketing
- Concept media opportunities when appropriate
- Write POVs on culture and trends
- 4 years professional experience in brand strategy or account planning
- High quality writing and storytelling ability
- Meticulous, collaborative, patient, level headed, able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- Track record with working with interdisciplinary teams
- Experience with audience research and social listening tools like YouGov, Netbase, and similar data tools
- Comfortable in both qualitative and quantitative settings
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently
- Entertainment experience (film, streaming campaign development) a plus. A passion for entertainment required
- Experience with developing campaign architecture and comms strategy a plus
