Our Market Development Manager will have the following responsibilities:
• Drive sales and distribution growth throughout territory and aggressively pursue new accounts
• Ability to travel to other priority metro markets to support business development initiatives
• Foster relationships with the primary Metro Area retailers and support additional markets on a monthly basis
• This role will provide extensive industry training and retail sales skills development
• Communicate retail account activity to our local distributor partners, distributor representatives, and management teams
• Requirements:
• YOU MUST LIVE IN AND AROUND Chicago Metro area - The position will require covering this geography plus supporting additional priority Metro markets.
• 4 days a week in the field
• Minimum 1-2 weeks of travel supporting additional metro markets
• Consistent calls on local retail buyers and decision makers
• Regular distributor ride-along activity
• Market Sales Blitz support
• MDM role details:
• Salary Range $60,000 annual
• Quarterly Commission bonus structure
• Medical benefits

• About You:
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
• Sales experience in food and beverage or other similar CPG industry
• Must be a self-starter, organized and driven to succeed and win
• Excellent sales and relationship development skills
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Proficient in basic computer skills, excel, word and the google suite
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
