What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garment Inventory Manager position at Culture Studio?
Culture Studio is looking for a leader to manage our garment and inventory department. If you are a leader that likes to keep things in order, very organized, and have previous experience in inventory management, then this role is for you. The garment and inventory manager holds a big role in the start of our printing processes. This person can aid the team to work with urgency, accuracy and top tier communication. This position comes with a great deal of satisfaction knowing that the processes of Culture Studio begin within the organization and great standard of this department. Within this department, you will work closely with inventory and receiving teams to create an excellent dynamic.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of team members within the Garment check in team.
- Organizing & ensuring High level training of departmental daily duties & functions as needed.
- Championing operating manual training documentation as often as needed based on most updated processes.
- Engage in verification of records for incoming orders and maintain communication with the necessary teams.
- Manage records of unfulfilled orders, backstock, inventory, returns, etc.
- Oversee incoming shipments for concise planning of department needs & flow.
- Oversee outgoing shipments accuracy for Return Authorizations and outsourcing to ensure compliance & efficiencies.
- Determine space requirements and positioning of in house inventory & incoming loads with the inventory supervisor.
- Direct movement of shipments and order pulling to ensure the best performance.
- Take a step back approach to view the departments from a high level to assure department cleanliness & organization.
- Provide communication of daily updates based on the production schedule, product planning, etc.
- Ensure the schedule board is up date 1-2 days prior to print dates.
- Respond to clients or vendors in a timely manner.
- Recommend, implement, and support continuous development within the department to improve department and employee productivity.
- Support a safe work environment & ensure proper safety training is provided & completed as needed.
- Assist in planning and maintaining a balanced departmental budget based on employees and work load.
- Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of warehouse tools and equipment.
- Work with the purchasing team to ensure proper goods are received, accounted for and managed according to purchase orders.
Qualifications
- Bilingual: Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
- 3 Years of industry experience
- 3 Years of management or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills, self motivated, self starter, sense of urgency, and very personable
- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Flexible, Friendly, and engaging personality
- Hands on experience as a trainer or coach
- Proven experience in inventory management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
