Job Summary :
The US Compliance Director will be pivotal in maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing internal policies, and ensuring adherence to legal standards within consumer lending, banking, and / or fintech sectors. Reporting to the U.S. Head of Legal and Compliance, this individual will collaborate across departments to support compliance frameworks and drive regulatory excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies aligned with U.S. federal and state regulations.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to laws that govern consumer lending, financial privacy, information security, payment processing, and loan servicing (e.g., ECOA, FCRA, TILA, GLBA, EFTA, and / or BSA / AML).
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership and business units on compliance matters, offering strategic guidance to internal teams to align business goals with compliance requirements.
- Will conduct regular compliance assessments, oversee internal audits, and develop risk management solutions.
- Collaborate with the U.S. Head of Legal and Compliance to address regulatory inquiries, reporting, and examinations.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of regulatory awareness.
- Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations, ensuring Glow Financial adapts accordingly.
