Job Summary:
The US Compliance Director will be pivotal in maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing internal policies, and ensuring adherence to legal standards within consumer lending, banking, and/or fintech sectors. Reporting to the U.S. Head of Legal and Compliance, this individual will collaborate across departments to support compliance frameworks and drive regulatory excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies aligned with U.S. federal and state regulations.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to laws that govern consumer lending, financial privacy, information security, payment processing, and loan servicing (e.g., ECOA, FCRA, TILA, GLBA, EFTA, and/or BSA/AML).
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership and business units on compliance matters, offering strategic guidance to internal teams to align business goals with compliance requirements.
- Will conduct regular compliance assessments, oversee internal audits, and develop risk management solutions.
- Collaborate with the U.S. Head of Legal and Compliance to address regulatory inquiries, reporting, and examinations.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of regulatory awareness.
- Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations, ensuring Glow Financial adapts accordingly.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 10 years of regulatory compliance experience in consumer lending, banking, and/or fintech industries (a combination of these sectors is ideal).
- CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) certification is preferred but not required.
- Solid working knowledge of U.S. financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Proven track record of successfully managing compliance programs in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and regulatory bodies.
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
