RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties of the position will be focused on further developing and improving social media efforts for Culver’s boarding school and summer camp programs. This will include creating campaigns that support Culver’s social media goals and objectives and ensuring both content and photo/video productions are posted in a timely and consistent manner. Other duties will include researching the latest social media trends and recommend methods that would benefit the academies, provide support on key projects and initiatives, and manage the summer camp application/calendar on a daily basis. This position will also provide support during key events throughout the summer.
REQUIREMENTS: The temporary summer intern should have a high school diploma and be pursuing a career in journalism, communications, marketing, or public relations. Must be highly organized, proficient with photography and video platforms, have strong creative writing skills, and consider themselves a social media “addict” who is familiar with the most popular platforms.
