Our busy Campus Store is looking for Retail Associates who enjoy working with the public. We strive to maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in retail and a strong dedication to providing exceptional service for customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customers as they enter the store and ask if they need assistance.
Develop solutions for customers by listening to their needs and recommending the appropriate products. If you are unsure or unable to assist them, find the proper team member who can assist them.
Utilize the company’s POS system to cash customers out or administer returns.
Collaborate with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times.
Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
Work with established rules and policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 16 years old and a current student or possess a high school diploma/HSE.
Neat and organized.
Excellent verbal, mathematical, and customer service skills.
Able to lift 25 to 40 pounds and have the stamina to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
