What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Retail Clerk position at Culver Academies?
RESPONSIBILITIES: The part-time Retail Clerk provides exceptional customer service both in person and on the telephone, promotes sales of Culver products, operates the Point of Sale system, labels merchandise, stocks shelves, and works to maintain a clean and orderly store for customers. This position will serve in all Campus Store locations, including but not limited to the Main Store, Museum Gift Shop, and Pop-up events.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess a high school diploma/GED. Prior experience in a retail environment is highly desired. Must be neat, organized, and possess excellent communication, mathematical, and customer service skills. Must acquire the skills needed to develop proficiency and accuracy in the store’s computer systems. The successful candidate will desire to become a valuable team member, and be able to lift 50 pounds.
HOURS OF WORK: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays. This is a part-time position, and the hours can fluctuate weekly between 10-20 hours to meet the needs of the store.
