INTERNAL ONLY - TEMPORARY 24/25 SY ONLY

Part Time: 2:35pm - 3:30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only.
Position Description: Under the direction of licensed educators and the school Principal, the Bilingual High School Study Lounge Tutor has a variety of support responsibilities, especially helping High School ELL students with bilingual needs during High School Success (Measure 98) after-school study groups/homework club.
These tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Spanish Language Translation: Written and Verbal
- Tutoring in all subjects

QUALIFICATIONS / PREFERENCES:
- Must be Highly Qualified. (See Below)
- Communicate and translate effectively in reading, writing and speaking Spanish Required
- Experience with current technology and willingness to learn specially designed programs.
- Ability to read, understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Consistently demonstrate a growth mindest and positive attitude in an effort to serve as a model for the education community.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, able to take direction and work cooperatively with certified staff.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Dependable, flexible, organized and receptive to feedback.
- Consistently sets high expectations for self, peers and students.
To be “Highly Qualified” requires one of the following:
- An Associate's degree; or
- Two years of study at an institution of higher education - approximately 72 quarter credit hours; or
- Pass the District Assessment for educational assistants in the areas of reading, writing, math and pedagogy (after hire); or
- Possess a Highly Qualified Certificate from a school district.
Approximate Start Date: ASAP
Salary Range: $18.51 - $23.77
