We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team at Cumberland Construction Group. This position will involve working on various commercial construction projects across the Southeast. Responsibilities
- Construct and repair structures made of brick, block, stone, or other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
- Perform installations of hardscapes and masonry elements according to design plans.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
- Assist in renovation projects as needed, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role in commercial construction.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites.
- Ability to operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Good physical stamina and strength for manual labor.
