What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESIDENTIAL TEAM LEADER position at Cumberland County Guidance Center?
Dynamic Opportunity~ As a full-time employee, working 40 hour per week, a Residential Team Leader is responsible for the direct oversight of a A GRP Residential Group Home. The Team Leader oversees and assists with collecting of data for the Quality Improvement Plan within the program including but not limited to indicators, thresholds, outcome measures, goals, utilization of resources, engagement and client satisfaction.
The Guidance Center~ is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 60 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.
What does this position look like~ A Residential Team Leader is responsible for administrative duties include staff scheduling, supervision and ensure documentation is completed in according with DMHAS regulations. Additional responsibilities include completion of treatment plans and clinical documentation. Coordinates scheduling and programming. Provides direct services to residents. Is available for emergency situations and filling in at residences on an as needed basis. Advocates for residents. Collaborates with resident's and other treatment providers. Develops activities that support community integration. Develops treatment interventions that assist with recovery goals. Coordinates House Council meetings.
What you need to apply~
- In addition to one year of experience in a residential mental health setting, the individual must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field
- Supervisory skills
- Knowledge of community resources and agencies
- Valid automobile driver's license with MVR and ability to be covered by our insure carrier.)

- Schedule 8:00AM to 4:00PM three days, 12:00noon to 8:00PM two days, Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday. On call rotation.
