Cumberland International Trucks is seeking an energetic, customer service-oriented Outside Parts Sales person to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. *Earn up to $50k commission (based on experience) company phone, car allowance and fuel card
Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Outside Parts Sales person are to fulfill customer parts needs in the most efficient and accurate manner by:
- Responding to customer parts or information requests quickly
- Develop business relationships with all customers
- Develop game plan for prospecting a designated territory
- Communicating internally with parts department and externally with customers
- Monitoring the status of customer orders, advising in case of problems and notifying upon arrival
- Assisting other Parts Department employees with above tasks as necessary
- Organization and maintenance of the customer accounts, including pricing and application materials
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- The Outside Parts Sales person position is a vital member of the Parts Department Team, one who has a direct impact on parts sales and customer satisfaction. Accordingly, specific personal qualities and abilities are required for successful performance in this position, including:
- Appreciation for teamwork & sincere desire to contribute as a team member
- Excellent communication skills, including an awareness of others & effective listening ability
- Customer appreciation, a desire to satisfy customers & the ability to instill customer confidence
- A commitment to customer satisfaction by addressing potential issues proactively
- Multi-tasking ability, especially in dealing with interruptions and quick acknowledgements
- Preferred but not Required
- College degree
- Truck Parts Sales &/or Parts Counter experience
- Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive &/or truck mechanics
- Parts department experience, particularly in a truck dealership or truck aftermarket environment
- An ability to recognize opportunities for process & operational improvement
