Description
The Supervisor of Crisis Services Planning and Development will be responsible for developing policy, procedures and licensing of expanded crisis services including, but not limited to, Mobile Crisis Response, 23-hour Crisis Stabilization Services, etc. Additionally, the Supervisor of Crisis Services Planning and Development will provide emergency services PAS duties and work in conjunction with the CMCSB emergency services team to foster the development and expansion of the crisis continuum of care at Cumberland Mountain CSB. The Supervisor of Crisis Services Planning and Development will work with the CMCSB CITAC as well as all outpatient behavioral health adult and children's program, ID / DD programs, and the Laurels Recovery Center staff to ensure continuity of care across the spectrum of services. This position will require the ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays and requires excellent time management, organization, and written / verbal communication skills.
Position Requirements
Minimum requirements include a Master's Degree in a Human Services Field and Licensed Eligible, Virginia Pre-admission Screener Certification Preferred and Licensure Preferred, supervisory experience and clinical supervision training in Virginia also preferred. Excellent leadership skills necessary. Good written and oral communication skills required. Current valid driver's license and good driving record also required.

About the Organization
CMCSB was formed in 1972 as a Chapter 10 Community Services Board under Virginia law. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
