As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

Pediatric Dental Associates is a thriving practice with locations in Philadelphia, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Founded in 1975, PDA has grown to serve 100,000 patient visits annually. In addition, the practice operates leading pediatric residency programs through partnerships with Temple University Hospital and Cooper University Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment.
- Taking and processing X-rays of patients
- Assist the doctors and patients with a wide range of restorative procedures
- Chart and enter notes in Dentrix
- Work in a team-oriented environment
- X-ray certification required
- Basic knowledge of hygiene, restorative, and orthodontics
- Dental Assisting certificate preferred
- Dental office experience preferred
