Financial Controller

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives. This role requires a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of the accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Supervise the accounting team, providing mentorship and support for professional development.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in manufacturing financial management, public accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, and regulatory reporting practices.
• Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
