This position6 plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of CREST by managing administrative tasks, coordinating special projects, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail to support the team and advance the organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for leadership and staff.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Organizational Management:
- Create and implement systems to streamline office operations.
- Monitor office supply levels and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain detailed records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Special Projects:
- Coordinate and oversee special projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion.
- Research and compile information to support project objectives.
- Act as a liaison between departments or external stakeholders during project execution.
- Problem-Solving:
- Anticipate potential challenges and proactively develop solutions.
- Address operational or logistical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Provide support in resolving conflicts or discrepancies within the administrative scope.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
- Facilitate communication between leadership, staff, and external partners.
- Assist with the planning and execution of meetings, events, and trainings.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of employee files, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Input, organize, and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle complex tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing demands.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating special projects or supporting executive leadership.
- Familiarity with nonprofit operations or working with individuals with IDD.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
