What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer 2025 - Speech and Language Pathologist for ESY Program position at Cumberland School Department?
The Cumberland School Department is looking for a Speech/Language Therapist as an independent contractor to provide approximately 18 hrs./week of services as part of Extended School Year. The ESY program starts July 7, 2025 and runs through August , 2025. This assignment will likely entail providing speech and language services to students grades K-12 .
Applicants must possess Rhode Island Department of Education Certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist, have private professional liability insurance, and obtain a background check (unless you have one that is less than a year old). Certification of Clinical Competence is highly preferred. Unfortunately we cannot consider applicants with only Department of Health certification or Speech and Language Pathologist—Assistant status.
