Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Cumberland Village Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.
About the Role:
This full-time LPN position is available on night shift, operating from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), focusing on achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Evaluations and Assessments
You will evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe their condition, and report any changes in their status. This information will contribute to comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning.
Medication Administration and Treatments
You will administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Patient Care Supervision
As an LPN, you will supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Hold current licensure by the State Board of Nursing or pending LPN licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by state practice for assisted living facilities.
