Nursing Role Description
The LPN/LVN provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing treatments, and contributing to nursing assessments and care planning. The LPN/LVN also evaluates patients/residents, collects data, observes condition, and reports changes in condition.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a degree from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program, hold a current license from the State Board of Nursing, or be pending licensed practical nurse licensure. Additional requirements include maintaining current BLS/CPR certification, if applicable.
