Position Summary : To organize, administer and support activities that enable EG America to remain compliant with all federal and state tobacco, alcohol, and food safety regulations and certifications across all EG America banners. The incumbent of this role will work with Retail Operations, internal departments, federal & state government agencies and vendor partners to ensure all stores locations meet food safety training and certification requirements, alcohol and tobacco training requirements. This position will also support the Retail Training Team and Knowledge Zone administration.
Responsibilities :
Working Relationships : Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers; meeting their needs in a timely manner. Ability to lead, collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
Minimum Education : High School Diploma
Preferred Education : Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Public Health or related discipline
Minimum Experience : 1 to 2 years - retail business office environment or experience in a food safety role.
Preferred Experience : 5 to 7 years - retail business office environment or restaurant experience in a food safety role.
Licenses / Certifications : Certified Food Protection Manager preferred but not required.
Soft Skills : Adept at collaborating effectively with intra-departmental and inter-departmental teams of peers, superiors and / or subordinates. Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure at times, team player. Understanding of FDA food code and certification requirements.
