Overview
Cumming Closets is looking for a skilled Closet Installer to join our dynamic team. As a Closet Installer, you will play a vital role in delivering and installing custom storage solutions, including closets, garages, and office spaces, based on detailed design specifications. This role requires precision, exceptional craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Installation: Deliver and professionally install custom storage solutions, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
- Adjustments: Perform on-site adjustments, including wood cutting, to align with design changes or address installation needs.
- Project Completion: Manage projects independently or as part of a team, from start to finish.
- Tear-Outs & Clean-Up: Remove old systems when required and ensure the workspace is left clean.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Safety & Maintenance: Ensure a safe, organized workspace and operate tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly.
- Painting: Experience with wall painting is a valuable asset.
- Lighting Installation: Experience with closet lighting is an advantage.
- Need to travel to client locations as required to meet project needs.
Requirements
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Skilled in installing crown molding, closets, glass door and mirrors utilizing tools and equipment essential for closet installations.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Prior experience in installations is required; experience with closets, garages, or home spaces is preferred.
