We’re hiring: Accounting Manager
Cummings has grown this year by adding 300 committed new hires to our family... and the number is growing! We support our services, construction, and manufacturing businesses by hiring electricians, project managers, service account managers, engineers, estimators, and designers, among others. As a accounting manager you will be an integral part of the organization. As a member of the Accounting Team the accounting manager is responsible for all payroll functions. Ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with all government regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities
- Understand and be able to compute wage and overtime calculations
- Understand how payroll taxes are assessed
- Process and manage accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, job cost, general ledger, cash management, and taxes.
- Work with exterernal auditors
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Process, review, and analyze financial data
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- work collectively as a member of the team to ensure all work is completed, and deadlines are met.
Quaifications:
- 5 years of progressive construction accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Advanced microsoft office experience
- Financial software or ERP systems experience
- CPA (Preferred)
