Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities: • Learn and understand the health and safety policies and procedures established by Cummings Integrated Manufacturing.• Advise all floor employees, and subcontractors regarding safe work practices needed to comply with company safety procedures, project requirements, and local, state, and federal
regulations. • Routinely inspect the work areas & overall facility for safety violations and stop any unsafe work practices/conditions.• Report all safety concerns, incidents, and near-misses to the Safety Manager within 24 hours of occurrence.
The DSR shall monitor and ensure that the operations for these activities are safe and in compliance with the applicable procedures and regulations: o Production installation / operations Electrical components & assemblies Paint / Sandblast Cutting / Welding o Material Handling, staging & loading/offloadingo Crane Operations, including flagging/spottero Equipment inspections and operationso Project/site inspections and operationso Lockout /Tagout
Qualifications:• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910, ANSI, & NFPA standards• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification• Minimum 3 years’ experience, full-time safety experience or related discipline required.• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.
