Responsibilities
Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:
- 1 years of experience in the structured cabling/ data technician field
- Can perform basic module testing of Cat6 cables
- Can terminate Cat5/ Cat 6 with proficiency
- Understanding the pinouts of 8P8C RJ45 connectors as they relate to the colored pairs and their assigned pin number for 568A/B Punch down terminations
- Understands the basic logic of patching cables from switch to patch panel and from the outlet to the workstation or network device.
- Knows the 12- wire color code
- Understands network logic to the extent of building dry pair outlets and extending data circuits
- Can read Topology drawings

Pay range is $19 - $34 / hour based on experience and skill level.
