Cummings, McClorey, Davis & Acho PLC (CMDA) is urgently seeking a highly-motivated attorney with 3 years of civil litigation and/or municipal law experience to assist with a fast-paced and rapidly expanding municipal law/litigation practice and to help grow its Clinton Township, MI office.
Skills and Educational Requirements
- JD from an ABA-Approved law school, with excellent academic credentials
- Current Michigan Bar admission in good standing
- Minimum of three years of litigation and/or municipal law experience
- Ability to manage cases from inception through trial, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs; managing discovery; taking and defending depositions; and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing
- High energy, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take on new projects and learn new skills quickly
- Outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities
- Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and electronic discovery platforms
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner, along with a commitment to provide clients with high-quality services
