Johnson County based company is looking for a Director of Accounting for their corporate office
- Director of Accounting is responsible for directing corporate as well divisional accounting including oversight of all corporate accounting staff and cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, leases and general and complex accrual processes for the company divisions.
In addition other duties include:
- Directs monthly close process, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses. Will prepare more complex entries.
- Drive improved levels of performance by creating and monitoring accounting reports capital expenditures, etc.), measuring performance against established standards and work with staff to address and correct any identified performance deficiencies.
- Assist with preparing the monthly Management Business Review report and other support schedules in partnership with Revenue Manager and Divisional Controller.
- Assist Controller in performing system testing, spreadsheet testing, access reviews, reconciliation reviews, etc.
