Cummins Behavioral Health Systems is seeking an experienced human resources professional for a
key position as Human Resources Generalist with hybrid remote work options.
Job Summary :
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing Human Resources related duties in the following functional areas : Employee relations, corporate training program, benefits administration, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment, employment law compliance, maintain credentialing / privileging files, and ensure that all activities are in adherence with the Corporate Compliance Program at Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc
Essential Functions :
- Monitors and administers training and development programs to ensure success and recommends changes or enhancements as needed.
- Assist in the compilation and evaluation of HR related reports, data, and analytics in relation to established department and organizational goals and recommended continual improvement, as necessary.
- Perform Bi-weekly final review of payroll and process submission.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to human resources and ensure policies, procedures and practices are in line with newest requirements and trends.
- Assist in the development and administration of human resources related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all human resources related federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Provide employee relations and human resources policy guidance to supervisors.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate staff development, competency-based training, and performance management for the organization.
- Analyze and aid in the design, development and implementation of learning initiatives and training needs to ensure efficient and effective individual and team performance.
- Develop training content (handouts, quick reference cards, guides, post training survey etc.)
- Assist in facilitating training.
- Ensure new hire onboarding meets internal and external standards.
- Ensure internal training offered by Cummins meets IPLA standards to provide CEUs.
- Assist as needed with recruiting, compensation, and benefits program.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Maintain company Online learning system.
- Work with leader to ensure required course material is assigned to new hires upon hire.
- Enter training information for staff (in-services, conferences) and maintain records.
- Monitor course material, create new course material, and assist in editing as needed.
- Track online orientation, certifications, licensure, and annual trainings.
- Ensure quick response to Cummins staff to problem-solve system issues.
- Contact supervisors when online orientation has not been completed prior to authorizing Provider Identification number.
- Provide Supervisor and Instructor function training to new supervisors and instructors.
- Maintain employee training files.
- Create and maintain credentialing / privileging files. Monitor credentialing of potential new hires, current employees to ensure credentials / experience meets internal scope of service standards for each role. Confirm on boarding compliance for new staff prior to providing services.
