Oversee overall operational functions of employee food and beverage services, suppliers, and associated contracts for all food service operations. This person must maintain a neat appearance, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and easily build rapport with customers. Constantly upholding exceptional levels of quality, service, and efficiency, while ensuring that the requirements of Cummins guests and employee needs are met.

Understands the capabilities of the supplier(s) and how Cummins can better utilize those capabilities to drive improvements in the areas of cost, quality, customer service and throughput. Ensures appropriate agreements are in place and monitors adherence to the terms of the agreements.
Develop supplier strategies to ensure the supplier and internal customers understand the relationship, rules of engagement, and provides solutions when both parties are misaligned. These strategies will require creative problem-solving skills to address quality, customer service, cost management, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee Cummins employee food service, vending and coffee vendor operations. Advise on associated budgets or subsidies.
- Advise on projects related to the transition of food service, vending and coffee suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities in the areas of industry expertise, capacity, quality, financial stability, etc. with local sourcing teams.
- Assist in the negotiation of supplier specific agreements and monitor adherence to those agreements.
- Consult on food and beverage, vending and coffee contracts globally.
- Provide professional leadership and direction to each site internal and external teams ensuring supplier provides necessary services appropriate for site population and employee demographic.
- Actively monitor the key performance indicators of suppliers in the areas of throughput, sanitation, quality, and cost. Communicate the results internally and externally.
- Identify and innovate metrics, tools and processes to optimize supplier activities, efficiencies and work collaboratively with stake holders to prioritize and drive implementation.
- Develop cross functional relationships to understand company food service needs at the site level.
- Sustain a working knowledge of all food and beverage operations, goals and initiatives.
- Ensure local site leaders on solutions for gathering customer feedback in reference to cafes, vending and office coffee.
- Hold supplier accountable to continuously updated requirements standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collect, record, and analyze the food and beverage financial performance data.
- Advise the local business site to set food and beverage hours of operation to execute guest and customer service standards according to budget goals.
- Ensure cafeteria new builds, renovations, and acquisitions happen on time and on budget.
