Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of material kitting, verification, and systematic transfers. You will identify inefficiencies and work cross-functionally to streamline processes, driving accountability and ownership within areas under your direct supervision to enhance the overall effectiveness of the team. Your ability to build effective teams by leveraging individual strengths will be crucial in improving team performance. You will hold yourself and others accountable by clearly defining expectations and documenting both successes and areas needing improvement. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems is required to manage and optimize material and resource planning effectively.
In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage the daily activities of the production team, including team member supervision, housekeeping, and meeting production targets.
- Collaborate with other departments to recommend and implement improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the group lead on projects and work assignments, providing direction and oversight.
- Offer guidance and feedback to team members to help them accomplish tasks and achieve goals.
- Set clear expectations and clarify responsibilities for team members.
- Coach and mentor team members to foster their professional development.
