Summer 2025 - School to Work – Supply Chain

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented School to Work - Supply Chain Planning student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Develop global supply chain database, using Microsoft Access and Excel

• Design supply chain information queries using database tools

• Data gathering with sites in USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Australia, India and China

• Develop training documentation

• Semester project to be determined with supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools preferred

• Ability to learn on the job in a dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities

• Ability to work independently and within teams as needed

Education

• Must be a full-time college/university student .

• Ideal candidate working toward an undergraduate degree , preferably in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Operations Management or Business Administration

Experience

• Completion of Intro to Information Systems or equivalent class (e.g. IS2080)

• Available Monday-Friday from 8:00-4:30

• Ability to be on-site

• Transportation available to and from the office
