Job Title : Field Service Technician
Department : Pennsylvania Service Department
Location : Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania
Reports To : Service Manager
Job Overview
The Field Service Technician is a highly self-motivated professional who has a minimum of two years’ experience pertaining to mechanical equipment service (i.e. air compressors, pumps). This individual must be able to provide service as needed on a 24 / 7 basis to our customers. Some jobs do require an overnight stay and mandatory training classes may also require this individual to be out of town for one-week periods.
Our most successful Field Service Technician :
- Education : High school diploma / GED equivalent
- Pump and air compressor field service experience preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical experience with pumps and air compressors and ability to troubleshoot.
- Basic experience with computers and wireless communication devices preferred.
- Customer Service, Communication, and Organizational skills are essential.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics
- Operate test / measuring equipment
- Must be US citizen
- Must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as drug test
- Must maintain an active driver’s license with clean driving record
