Responsibilities
(Intermediate):
This field service role will require flexibility in schedule and the ability to work days, nights and weekends as needed.
This field service role will require to be on a rotation for Emergency on-call situations.
This role requires a strong commitment to working safely in the field and familiarization with Cummins products and procedures.
DOT
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Basic level field service work experience
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
Customer service experience
Compensation And Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. - Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
Responsibilities

- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision
This field service role will require flexibility in schedule and the ability to work days, nights and weekends as needed.
This field service role will require to be on a rotation for Emergency on-call situations.
This role requires a strong commitment to working safely in the field and familiarization with Cummins products and procedures.
DOT
- A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
- This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing."
