Qualifications
- This role requires conventional and CNC machining experience. EDM experience will be a plus.
- Experience setting up and operating various manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools, like lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience in precisely measuring and inspecting parts using calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools, to produce high-quality machined components according to specified tolerances.
- The ability and focus to adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
- This position often requires strong mathematical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions, as well as knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling geometry.
