- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Lead projects to create and implement manufacturing processes that meet safety requirements and product specifications.
- Improve Manufacturing Efficiency: Apply manufacturing principles to enhance equipment and processes.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Utilize continuous improvement tools to optimize manufacturing standards and methods.
- Influence Stakeholders: Communicate with and influence key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members.
- Collaborate on Projects: Work with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.
- Develop Manufacturing Standards: Lead the development of manufacturing standards and working methods.
- Apply Advanced Knowledge: Use advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles as applied to Cummins.
- Coach and Maintain Relationships: Maintain relationships and coach key stakeholders.

- Process Documentation: Producing written manufacturing procedures to establish continuity and standardization.
- Problem Solving: Solving problems using systematic analysis and implementing robust, data-based solutions to prevent reoccurrence. Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
- Project execution for RMEP engine assembly retool.
- Lead capital project installation for various automated cells.
- Lead process changes to main engine assembly.
- Lead root cause analysis in response to issues.
