- Engineering Expertise : Applying your specialized knowledge of engineering principles across various projects will ensure the effective design, analysis, and release of packaging and container systems throughout the product life cycle.
- Collaborative Design : Working cross-functionally and with customers and suppliers to specify design requirements will lead to the development of efficient expendable and returnable packaging solutions for new products and raw materials.
- Continuous Improvement : Identifying and delivering improvements in packaging, quality, total cost, and waste will align with organizational goals and drive operational excellence.
- Fleet Management : Defining the returnable container fleet size through collaboration will optimize logistics and inventory management, ensuring efficient operations.
- Standard Compliance : Developing site-specific packaging requirements that align with Cummins Global Packaging Standards and safety needs will ensure consistency and compliance.
- Supplier Conformance : Ensuring supplier adherence to packaging standards and regulatory requirements will maintain the quality and reliability of inbound and outbound shipments.

- Responsible for the daily work direction of the onsite Packaging Technician.
- Packaging Data Specification gathering and input in the Packaging Specifications System.
- CHEP Pallet Auditing and PO generation.
- Undertaking courses for the Packaging School Library to further existing skills and education.
