- Completing repair activities on generators or components

- Perform maintenance / repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of service
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development / certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
- Intermediate) :
- Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
- Startup and repair of bypass transfer switch.
- Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
- Education, Licenses, Certifications :
- Apprentice Certified Power Generation / Electrical Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
