Job Description
We are looking for a talented Quality Inspector - Level III to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Mineral Point, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Quality Assurance : Ensure that products received or produced meet technical specifications, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Training : By training others in the use of measurement equipment and documentation, you'll help build a knowledgeable and skilled team.
- Minimal Supervision : Work under minimal supervision and demonstrate reliability / independence in your role.
- Final Quality Verification : Verify the final quality of products on the production line, ensuring only top-quality products are delivered.
- Defect Identification : By comparing physical characteristics to technical specifications, you will identify and separate defective products.
- Documentation : Document non-conforming products using specified systems, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Measurement Techniques : Using both basic and complex measurement techniques, ensure precise quality control.
- Adherence to Standards : You will follow the company's quality norms and standards, contributing to consistent and reliable production processes.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following :
Education / Experience :
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
