Position Overview
Cumulus Media - Indianapolis seeks a highly motivated and qualified applicant to fill the unique position of Vehicle Transporter / Driver . This position is responsible for vehicle delivery and returning vehicles to Cumulus Media locations and remote broadcast locations. Primarily, this position moves our large truck / trailer that is up to 33' in length and a gross vehicle weight of 20,700lbs.
This is an on-call / part-time truck driving position that is perfect for licensed drivers seeking supplemental income and looking to work anywhere from 0 to 25 hours a week based on business needs.
This position requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities :
- Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving to destinations of remote broadcast locations or Cumulus Media locations.
- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to manager if any issues are found.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
