At Cunningham Children’s Home, we’re dedicated to providing a safe, supportive space where young people can learn, heal, and grow. We’re currently seeking a dynamic Associate Director of Human Resources to join our team.
This role will primarily focus on Benefits Administration to include our health and welfare benefits, leaves of absence, worker’s compensation, and wellness program. In addition, the AD of HR works closely with Payroll to communicate information related to HR matters, and also provides some assistance in employee relations matters. The ideal candidate will:
· Provide critical thinking and oversight of all benefits administration.
· Enjoy serving and interacting with employees to provide information and service to them.
· Have experience handling sensitive matters involving employees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Benefits Administration: Manage and oversee all aspects of employee benefits and wellness programs, ensuring alignment with agency goals and regulatory requirements.
- 401(k) and Compliance: Provide essential support for 401(k) audits, benefit plan testing, and filing of 5500 forms.
- Employee Leaves: Assist employees with leave requests, ensuring compliance with CCH policies, FMLA, and other applicable regulations.
- Workers' Compensation: Oversee workers’ compensation claims and manage return-to-work policies.
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise HR Administrative Program Assistant
- Compliance and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws related to benefits administration, workers’ compensation, recruitment, and more. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Backup Support: Serve as the backup in the absence of the Director of Human Resources.
General Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
