Cunningham Children's Home in Urbana, IL offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of recently migrated youth. The Caminos program ensures a safe and secure placement for these children as they seek family reunification and pursue their education and immigration cases.
The Shift Leader will support the Milieu Coordinator in overseeing the daily operations of the unit while providing direct care to clients. This role involves ensuring that day-to-day supervision of youth is in line with agency standards, implementing youth programming, and supporting the treatment needs of each youth. As an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, the Shift Leader will work under the guidance of the Milieu Coordinator to ensure the unique needs of each youth are met through effective supervision and programming.
Qualifications:
- BS in Human Services 2 years of experience in a related field, or
- BS in another field 3 years of experience in a related field, or
- High School Diploma 5 years of experience in a related field and at least 6 months of supervisory experience.
- Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Bilingual preferred.
