- Greet and welcome new patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed
- Coordinate treatment plans by working closely with dental or medical professionals to ensure that all patient needs are met.
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment documentation, while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, insurance benefits, and payment plans.
- Provide administrative support by answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
- Educate patients about procedures and follow-up care as necessary.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are prepared for patient visits.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or orthodontic office preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients and staff effectively.
- Proficiency in office software applications is advantageous for managing schedules and documentation efficiently.
