Job Summary:
Inspection technicians are a critical piece of Cunningham customer service. Inspection technicians are responsible for keeping our customers’ systems in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. This is critical for customers to protect their homes and businesses. The job has a lot of variety and includes everything from testing functionality, changing batteries to basic troubleshooting as trained and needed.
As a face of the company, it is important that you have both good technical skills and good customer service skills. Politeness and a clean and neat presentation are key.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform inspections on customer alarm systems.
- Test the functionality of alarm sensors, motion detectors, smoke detectors, and other devices.
- Ability and willingness to learn new software including Sedona and Building Reports.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and tests performed on each system.
- Changing batteries.
- Perform basic maintenance/ troubleshooting as trained as required.
What You’ll Need:
- High School or Equivalent.
- NICET or IPSI preferred or the ability to pass testing.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Communication for all problems encountered.
- Exceptional organization and workmanship level.
- Must be able to pass background and driving record checks.
Pay Range
USD $21.00 - USD $27.00 /Hr.Salary : $21 - $27
