Adjunct Lecturer - Tourism and Hospitality

The Department of Tourism and Hospitality invites applications for Adjunct Lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in the Tourism and Hospitality Department for the 2024-2025 academic year. The successful candidate will teach On-campus, undergraduate courses in various areas Tourism and Hospitality with specific regard to Customer Service, Destination Geography, Sabre GDS, Front Office Operations, Opera Property Management System, Hospitality Marketing, Labor Management and Human Resources, Event / Meeting Planning and other Tourism and Hospitality related courses as needed.
Performs teaching and related duties in area(s) of expertise.
Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in area of expertise. The ability to teach successfully in face-to-face modality. Excellent communication skills with students. Department and college participation / interaction is required.
Prior teaching experience in Tourism and Hospitality. Current or prior industry experience. Existing (or the ability to obtain) Instructor Certification from the American Hotel and Lodging Association Educational Institute is needed.
91.67 - $98.40 per hour. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
