The Behavioral & Social Sciences Department of Hostos Community College invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Psychology to commence at the start of the Spring 2025 Semester.
The candidate will be required to teach introductory Psychology classes and upper-level Psychology classes as necessary, and may also be assigned other related / applicable courses.Duties include but are not limited to teaching, research and publication, guidance duties / student advisement in area(s) of expertise; committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions. Essential duties require on-campus presence / in-person work.
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
The following qualifications are preferred :
75,465 - $82,928; Commensurate with education and experience.
